Sparkle is a Chicago native singer who got her career jump by singing with urban pop artist R Kelly. In 1997, she sang with him on the track "Be Careful." Her first solo album, entitled Told You So, debuted in September of 2000. Sparkle follows in the path of modern soul singers such as Faith Evans and Monica.
