Biography

With a sound that falls directly in line with the legions of post-Fall Out Boy emo/pop-punk bands (think Panic! at the Disco's vocals over FOB's hooks), Scenes from a Movie have their roots in Charleston, WV, centered on a pair of high-school friends, vocalist/bassist Tony Bush and guitarist Jon Ewing. The two first met at school and played in a few bands together before graduation, and individual college plans found them going their separate ways. Ewing stayed close to home, enrolling at the University of Charleston, where he soon met guitarist Luke Del Papa, and together they began getting a new band organized.
